Do you photograph weddings or other types of sessions?
I primarily photograph families and couples, but I have photographed many, many seniors, lifestyle newborn sessions, and individuals. You are welcome to choose either of my packages for any of those types of photoshoots! The booking option allows you to specify which type of photoshoot you'd like to do.
WEDDINGS: While I have photographed many weddings over the years, I only take on a very few each year. Feel free to reach out and ask about your date through the Book Now tab to see if I have availability left!
What if my kids won’t cooperate?
Totally normal! This is actually where my husband shines—many kids know him as the guy who eats leaves, chases motorcycles, or does goofy dances. Most children warm up and end up having fun. If your child is in a stage where cooperation feels unlikely, I recommend choosing a package with extra time so they can settle in at their own pace. We’ve worked with neurodivergent kids, shy kids, toddlers in the ‘terrible twos,’ and overtired little ones. We see every session as a chance to connect with your child in the way that works best for them.
Do you travel?
I try to keep sessions local to Fredericksburg, VA. If you're within about an hour, feel free to reach out—we can talk about it! Travel fees apply.
Can we bring our dog?
Yes, of course! Just let me know ahead of time :)
Can we do multiple types of photos in one session?
Yes! If your chosen package has enough time and images, you can mix things like family photos, senior photos, couples photos, or individuals—no extra cost. Just let me know ahead of time so that I can prepare prompts specifically for the types of photos you'd like!
How will we receive our images?
Your images are delivered in an online gallery where you can download your edited photos in high resolution and order prints directly through a professional photo lab.
Do we have to order prints through your website?
No, you are free to order prints wherever you'd like. Be warned though that you receive the quality that you pay for. Places like Walmart, Walgreens, etc. do not print high quality or match the colors of the high resolution images you will receive. Your gallery is connected to a professional printing lab, so ordering prints, canvases, Christmas cards, and more is quick and comes with top notch quality.
Do you provide a client closet?
I don’t offer a client closet; wear what feels like you! My editing style does not require specific color pallets. But I love earthy tones as well as bold colors that pop.
I feel awkward in photos. Will you help pose us?
Absolutely. We guide you the entire time with simple prompts and natural movement so you’re never left wondering what to do. Don't know what to do with your hands? No one does! We'll let you know :)
Do you offer gift cards?
Yes! You can purchase gift cards for sessions—perfect for meaningful gifts for couples, family members, or good friends that you want to spoil!
